Good web site! I truly love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified when a new post has been made. I've subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!

I am a customer with a few servers since 2009.
Although I see that you have kept your promise not to raise prices on existing customers, you are failing to update the hardware specifications of you current offerings. What you sell today is exactly the same with 2009!
This is wrong. Hardware DID get cheaper eversince! You should -at least- consider getting refurbrished hardware such as HP DL360s or ML350s or DL380s (previous generations) for the prices you are giving today the P4s!

I will have to move out at some point simply because colocation is becoming cheaper I'm afraid so it's very cheap for me to colocate a P4, 1GB Ram & 80GB disk machine...

I see it's setup with 2 harddrives in raid 1 and a backup drive. Is it possible to use these as three independent drives? or will they have to be configured this way? Or is RAID0 possible?

Basically, would it be possible to have more than 36GB of usable space? I'm looking to have at least 80GB of usable space, or at least 64GB.

@Matt - I see my server I want is back, I was reading the ToS and have a few questions. Can you have someone contact me at the email I use for this reply?

Thanks!

@Matt - I vaguely recall an option where I can mail a USB stick back and forth for backup and loading large amount of data. Was that with you guys, or am I confused with a different provider? I have a spare 64GB USB stick right now, so I figured I can mail it over and use it as a backup solution...

Thanks Matt! That server was nearly perfect for what I wanted, that's within my budget range too. I'll keep an eye out for it again.

@Michael - It will be back again, or you can email sales@olm.net and we can offer you a custom configuration based on your needs.
